By downloading or using Flora AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. The Service
Flora AI is a plant care application that uses artificial intelligence to identify plants, diagnose plant health issues, and provide personalised care advice. The service is provided "as is."
AI-generated identifications, diagnoses, and care recommendations are provided for informational purposes only and should not replace professional horticultural or agricultural advice.
2. Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Flora AI.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts for third parties.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
Flora AI offers free and premium subscription tiers.
- Free tier: limited to 5 AI plant scans per month and 10 AI chat messages per day.
- Premium tier: unlimited scans, disease diagnosis, pest detection, and full AI features.
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not process payments directly.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- To cancel, manage your subscription in your device's App Store or Google Play settings.
- Prices are displayed in your local currency in the app before purchase.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their policies.
4. Content & Privacy
- Photos you take are sent to our AI service for analysis only and are not stored on our servers.
- Your plant collection data is stored securely and is only accessible to you.
- We may use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the service.

5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the app.
- Use the app to violate any laws or regulations.
- Share or redistribute AI-generated content as professional advice.
- Abuse the AI systems in a way that harms other users.
6. Limitation of Liability
Flora AI is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to plant death, crop loss, or reliance on AI-generated care advice.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you within the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
